Remember when you just got in line and stood there? You didn't know how long the wait would be. Maybe there was a sign with an approximate wait time, maybe not.
of course, people have smartphones that tell them everything. How long
is the wait? Where is the closest bathroom? Where are the hidden
mickeys? What's the meaning of life?
If you search for Disneyland iPhone apps (or Android apps) on your phone, you'll see a ton of choices: everything from planning your trip to trivia to Hidden Mickeys to Map apps and so on.
To help you choose, here are some of my favorites.
The official Disneyland app is great. It's FREE and will give you ride info such as wait times, height requirements, and accessibility. You can also make restaurant reservations, see where the characters will be for meet-n-greets, locate restrooms, and more.
I really like the Disneyland.com mobile site. They've got the most trustworthy information about the basics like entertainment schedules, hours, and height requirements, but my favorite part is the Dining Reservations.
You can put in your desired date, time, and number of people in your party and it will tell you what's available. It includes restaurant info like price range, type of food, and location plus Tripadvisor ratings and reviews. Just click on the restaurant that appeals to you and your table is reserved.
The Disney mobile site has good maps but they're a little hard to find at first. Just go straight to https://disneyland.disney.go.com/maps.
It's not Disney but I love Akinator the Genie. This guy is amazing. Think of any person, real or fictional, and the genie will guess it. My dad was thinking of a radio announcer from the 40's and it got it!
After downloading, be sure to go to Options and turn on Child Protection to avoid any adult-oriented questions.
Here are some cute Disney cases for way less than what you'll pay at Disneyland.
