Where can you get the best discount Disneyland tickets? How crowded will the park be during your visit? What are your toddler's favorite rides? Where can you get a good slice of pizza?

You can discuss these questions and more Disneyland experiences at Facebook. Click the link below to "Become a Fan" of DisneylandVacationTips.com on Facebook. There you'll find a Discussion Board.

Some recent posts covered:

  • Discounts in the Anaheim area restaurants
  • Win a free trip to Disneyland
  • Which rides just closed for repairs
  • Favorite breakfast treats in Disneyland
  • Halloween experiences

Here are a few of my favorite all-purpose travel tips:

  • Pack dark-colored clothing. They show fewer stains.
  • No matter what the weather, bring T-shirts AND long-sleeved shirts. That way you can layer.
  • Make sure your shoes are comfortable. Don’t plan to break them in on this trip!
  • Dig up your favorite car travel games. Hangman, I Spy, How Many ____ Can You Name (Pizza places, car brands, etc.) Rock Paper Scissors... These are great not only for the drive to Disneyland but also for waiting in line for rides.
  • Pack small baggies full of nuts, Cheerios, goldfish, and other non-perishable dry items. Even grownups appreciate a little bite to cure a growling tummy.
  • If your kids have iPod Touches, they are great for passing time in line. If you don't want them playing games the whole time, let them watch a Disney movie or read a Disney book on it.
  • Be flexible. Maybe your kids are eating more junk food than usual, staying up later than you'd like or watching more late-night TV in the hotel than is normally allowed, but remember these are the little things that make a vacation fun!
